Fragile heart with an eggshell mind
losing touch gone undefined
she's a beat and a one-way street,
a cemetery for your peace
Complicated and so divine,
exacerbated and in decline
you'll lose your mind and maybe more
this girl's the poison that's best served warm
Pick a glass and have a seat,
you'll find her taste is less discrete than
arsenic and novocaine
which flood her smell into your brain
You got me living for you
You got me bleeding the truth
Shark tanks of lies that fell through
You got me dying for you

My mind can't take much more of this
deprecating fascination
on the trail to fairy tales and
egotistical placation
Alabama heartbreak stamina
on a world that's never turning
night has come but the bird's still singing
counting, waiting, reminiscing.
Can you bridge the boredom that's taken me
in my mind where you don't wanna be
consciously I fight authority but
in the end I only bend to anxiety.
Opportunities sit wasted,
on my mantle and never tasted
can you feel me oh can you hear me
or am I the wallflower you will never see?
I can't contain this fascination
broken wings and a laceration
scrawling out the noetic poetics to
hide myself from the epidemic.

Rushing river
swimming trees
real life flashes on capsized dreams,
Pushing starboard
hard to port,
sunlight trickle the caustic word.
I found myself inside a tree
beneath the river next to me
I found that you were there, all along.
And with these puppet rope burn scars
I feel the bends creep down my arms,
a gasmask manifesto
crushing me.
Riptide swimmer in tattered jeans,
emotions cut on park bench dreams
frayed tow cable and dimming lights
cigar box full of lost advice.

It's been a long way down,
into this valley
it's been a long way up with
no one in sight.
With your eyelash icicles
flickering by me
dancing stars at, twilight.
And I'm finding out now that your the only one for me,
I'm finding out now that you're the, only one.
With a kaleidoscope of constellations
sunset bleeds across the sky
like a change in season
the lakes are freezing
and your finger tips they're,
they're the reason.
You're my solstice.
